Happy 5th birthday to my sweet, sweet boy!

Today is The Son's fifth birthday! It's so hard to believe. Five is such a milestone to me. He's officially a "big kid" now. Unfortunately, he's not feeling so well this morning, I'm hoping it's "just" a cold. I really don't want his party to be ruined for him for tomorrow.

I decided to decorate my mantel in an "All about The Son" style. I put things he really likes, like trains, cars and dinosaurs into my apothecary jars and added some other odds and ends that really say "The Son" it came out really cute and I'll show you later this weekend after I take pictures. I want to go ahead and upload all the pictures from the party tomorrow at the same time.

In the center of the mantel I put snapshots of The Son on (or very close to) each birthday that he's had. Here are the pictures I used:






His Rock Star photo is going to be displayed as well. I think it's all going to come together really nicely.
