The MIL leaves tomorrow, it seems like she just got here. We really don't have enough time to do stuff when she comes which kind of sucks. I guess it's good that we all get along though, right?
Dutch Wonderland was REALLY fun! The Son had a great time and I have some excellent pictures. It was really sentimental for me because I remembered going there with my parents as a kid. Some of the same stuff is still there and it was really cool to see it from an adult perspective 30 some odd years later. I really missed my mom, not that that's anything different than usual, it was just kind of hard because I know she would have enjoyed being with us that day, so much. We all missed her. (MIL was good friends with her too.)
I still have to plan my camp, I'm supposed to turn it in tomorrow and I haven't really even started it yet. Blah. I need to get to work on that. I do have the plan from last year so I'm just going to use that as my basic framework.
The Son goes to "Kids in the Kitchen" camp tomorrow and I'm hoping to get back to the gym to workout, I'll be trying a nice long walk with the puppy this morning to see if I can manage to keep my lungs inside my chest.
Have a great day everyone out there in blogland.

Hi Caren! I have been on vacation, so I need to catch up on your blog, but I just wanted to say that I came close to going to Dutch Wonderland this week! My SIL is there today and tomorrow, and originally we were all going to go together at some point during last week. But, we decided we didn't want to do the drive from NY, for various reasons. Hope to get there someday though, I always say that PA has so many great amusement parks!
I hope The Color Purple was great!!
So glad Dutch Wonderland was fun - can't wait to see the pictures!
I would love to see that show too. Hope it was worth the drive in!!
Glad you enjoyed yourself at the park even though it stirred up memories.
