At least he has a good vocabulary.

I was just trying to have a conversation with The Son while he was watching "Sprout" on TV, I needed him to put his pajamas from last night in the laundry room which he was supposed to do hours ago when he got dressed. As many of you know, trying to have a conversation with a four-year-old at any point is challenging, never mind while the TV is on and they're watching a show they like.

After repeatedly saying his name and then tapping him on the head to get his attention, he turned to me and told me, "but I'm too preoccupied by the TV to listen to you."

I told him he had two minutes to get the pjs where they belong or the TV was going off, then I had to leave the room to keep from laughing.

He put them in the laundry and he's over the TV show for now, happily playing with his Thomas train table. He keeps me laughing, that's for sure!

LOL!

This makes me happy. I was wondering earlier in the week if I am the only one that makes K do stuff like that.

Heck no! I have plenty of friends who make their kids do stuff like that and plenty who don't...guess which ones have the kids that are not as bratty?
