Momma's Little Helper

The Son will be "officially" four and a half in a couple weeks. He's very proud of this fact. I am just loving this age because for the most part, he is sweet, adorable and getting more independent (in a good way) by the day. Of course, kids are always frustrating and repeating myself seventeen times for him to do something (or not do something) can be irritating but I guess you have to take the good with the bad with these little guys, huh?

I want to share a few pictures of him helping me water our flowers. He's so cute with his wanting to help with everything these days. Obviously it takes longer when I let him "help" but he enjoys it so I try to find things he can do without me micro-managing too much. It's never good to micro-manage your four-year-old. Poor kid will grow up with a complex.

Enjoy the pictures and be sure to notice his trademark "mismatch crocs" he just loves to do that. Anyone who knows me will know it took me a LONG time to agree that this was acceptable, notice they don't even match the outfit he's wearing, again...a long time to agree that this was OK. I've got issues for sure but I'm trying to get over it. Now he's honestly known for his "mismatch" and people seem to get a kick out of it so I've embraced it whole-heartedly.

Gotta love him...

Sweet pictures. My older son is 4-1/2 and is oh-so-proud of that fact. Helping water the flowers is one of his favorite things to do.

Ha! That's funny! He'll probably cringe over it some day, but it's cute now, isn't it? ;o)

Oh! And I look like a soccer mom too...I had a "friend" once who told me that Coach is the low end of designer purses so she won't carry one. She's an EX-friend. haha

AND...I used to go to the movies by myself all the time. I don't have someone talking to me AND I don't have to share popcorn! Go see Sex and the City! I thought it was great. Bring tissues.

so cute!
I always love his trademark mismatched Crocs. I saw a little boy at the park the other day with the same thing and I automatically thought of him!!

He is a doll!! I would have issues with the mismatch too... maybe we should start a therapy group?

He's adorable. He can come water our flowers if he wants? They're dying in the heat.

His shoes remind me of the 80's when we mismatched our socks & shoes. LOL
