So I went to the doctor...

and there is nothing wrong with me. Nothing other than a Bad Cold that is. He did say that I might have some allergies too going along with it. He told me to take Zyrtec or Claritin and prescribed me a cough syrup with codine in it. I used that last night and it really did help but I can only use it at night since it makes me very sleepy. I got the allergy medicine too but I'm afraid to take it in case it makes me feel weird and we're doing some fun stuff today. 

I have a swim lesson in 45 minutes so I'll be heading there shortly. I hope it goes well, I haven't exercised in over a week because of this cough. I think this will be a good way to get back on track though. 

When I get home, The Son, The MIL and I are heading out to Dutch Wonderland. It's a  little theme park for kids, I went there as a kid, probably more than 30 years ago. I hear it hasn't changed much so I'm kind of excited. I may end up buying season passes if it's really good, we're not all that far away and I didn't get the Sesame Place passes this year since we've moved so much farther away. The Son was up at 6:50 AM because he was so excited. I hope he makes it through the day without any melt downs. If we're lucky, he'll nap on the way.
