$3.82

That's what I just paid for a gallon of gas in Wilmington, DE. Isn't it sad that I'm happy about that? It's the first time in a long time that I paid less than $30 at the gas station. My car was only slightly less than half full but still it was refreshing. I hear it's "coming down" a little bit. Anyone out there paying any less than $3.82?

I remember the good old days when I could put $5 in my Honda and get more than half a tank. sigh.

We are currently paying $3.59 a gallon is southwestern Ohio. My husband and I were going through old books from high school recently where things were asked, How much is a loaf of bread? Who was Secretary of Defense, and so on. One question, how much is a gallon of gas. I wrote $.97 in 1999. Man how times have changed!!

Ours has gone down by 26 cents the past two weeks. But it's still $4.53 a gallon for the cheapest. No kidding. It's freakin' ridiculous. Sometimes I hate California!
